In a Dark Dark House has now opened at the Almeida Theatre.

Excellent but towards the end found it slightly farcical as one actor was continually about to leave only for the other to make a comment that called him back. also, revelation upon revelation began to pall, although the twist of one revelation being un true was good.

Thank you for a stunning production and superb performances from the three cast members. It was a facinating study of how people come to terms with their past and the use of humour disguising the coming of the dnouement almost made it more difficult to watch and comprehend. I took a long time o get it out of my head. Thank you so much for an amazing experience. I do hope you continue to have sell out audiences. And with acting like this you deserve it.

I've reviewed it on my blog - it did form quite a nice match to August: Osage County which I also saw this week. I promise American families aren't all this screwed up, though these two plays did catch many ways in which we are. I wonder if England suffers from the same kind of problems?
